Film premiere 'Échangeur' at Het Bos

On Friday 9th and Saturday 10th of September, filmmaker Anne Reijniers and researcher Rob Jacobs show their documentary 'Échangeur' for the first time in Antwerp. The screening takes place at Het Bos, where they spent the past year working on the film in close cooperation with De Imagerie.

Synopsis

In the streets of the metropolis of Kinshasa, young Congolese imagine their version of the colonial past. Around an empty pedestal that once carried a Belgian monument emerges an imaginary city where archival footage, performances and present-day Kinshasa interact.
