Ampere presents 10 Years Smallville Records: Move D, Smallpeople

Ampere is celebrating the 10th year of Hamburg based Smallville Records with Move D and Smallpeople. Famed for carving out their own characteristically warm sound, this is definitely not one to miss for the real house-heads.

<< MOVE D (Smallville Records, Source Records) >>

Move D, aka David Moufang, is one of modern electronic music’s most beloved souls with a long and varied musical history with roots in 60s and 70s jazz, psychedelic, rock, soul and early electronica. His releases touch on house conventions but are delivered in his own inimitable style, leaving everyone - from longtime fans to the uninitiated— with their jaws on the floor and their hands in the air.

<< SMALLPEOPLE (Smallville Records, Underground Quality) >>

Julius Steinhoff and Just von Ahlefeld are DJs, producers and owners of Smallville record shop in Hamburg, also founders of the Label of the same name. Together, Julius and Just form producer duo Smallpeople, releasing records not only on Smallville, but also on Laid and Underground Quality.
